Soft Skills was first presented at the artist’s solo exhibition at the Polansky Gallery in Prague in 2017. “The image is the basic building unit in this series, defining and varying the possibilities of individual compositions. Softness, handmadeness or patience connects and at the same time obscures possible messages. Between the individual objects entitled ‘Jump’, ‘Hearth or Grave’, ‘It Will Come’, ‘Beneath the Surface’ and ‘After School’, a communicative space is simultaneously created in which ‘soft skills’ have their place; the ability to cooperate, negotiate, self-reflect, willingness to take risks, thinking by analogy, making decisions under conditions of uncertainty, social networking, openness and flexibility.”
