We know each other from the opening. The exhibition, where we met for the first time, was organized with the Fitnes3000 platform in an illegally occupied space at the end of Cejl Street in Brno.

We left the door open all evening and the children, whose grandmother lived next door, were drawn in by an unexpected commotion. They asked how we got in and their eyes danced with flames when they realized that we had asked no questions and had taken this part of the world for ourselves for a while.

From then on, our paths became intertwined–they introduced me to their world and I introduced them to mine. Sometimes it’s harder and sometimes it’s better, sometimes we get on each other’s nerves, but we’re also pretty curious, so we see each other all the time and I guess it gives us something, maybe meaning and maybe nonsense, either way it seems important.

Most of our activities together are based on suggestions from the children, some are based on getting to know each other, trying to recognize what works for whom and trying to encourage each other to continue to explore and develop our selves.

The video is a record of a trip to Lubná near Polička to visit Eva Machová and Martin Hurych, who in return for their warm invitation and welcome we decorated their Kulturák Archa with wall drawings and caused the violent death of all the chickens in their grandmother’s henhouse. Just like recording the story on the wall, the making of the video became part of our adventure together. Together we decided to post the video on Romale Chhave’s YouTube channel, which was created at the children’s request in order to gain internet fame and to be able to share their joy and experiences with their families and friends.
