Dizzy Cowboys

Many of us imagine our future in a capitalist reality outside the urban landscape. A house in the countryside, or even on the edge of a secluded forest… all from our own produce/garden and livestock, and commuting to the nearest town once a week to the market, ideally working from home, remotely, using high speed internet. The reality is different and most people will never be able to afford that luxury. Not only is the countryside, except for tourist and infrastructure-important locations, lagging behind, but young people often leave it for the big cities, and likewise the reproduction of work and the job market allows only a select few to work full-time from home independently of the city. But those select few prefer to participate in the gentrification of cities and coastal areas in third world countries. So the rest who must live in the city for work have no choice but to dream… to dream of hanging out by the woods at the end of the world in a rusted silo for no good reason, spinning rituals for a new revolution that will free the people from the clutches of the world order and the city.
