Justin Bennett's work combines sound, image, space and storytelling. Bennett makes work for public spaces as well as art spaces and concert venues. He works with field recordings of busy cities and desolate landscapes as well as electronic and acoustic instruments.
Collaborations include the performance group BMB con., HC Gilje, Vermeir & Heiremans, Renate Zentschnig, and he plays improvised music. He teaches at the Institute of Sonology, Royal Conservatoire in Den Haag and is a member of Jubilee, platform for artistic research and production in Brussels.
